Biography
Halina Skoczyńska was a Polish actress. Born on 2 July 1953 in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, she graduated from the State Higher School of Theatre in Kraków in 1977 and began her career with a debut in Wrocław.
She was primarily a stage actress, performing with theatres in Wrocław and later Warsaw, including the Polish Theatre and the National Theatre. Her film and television work included the role of Mother Superior in Ida (2013) and the piano teacher in All That I Love (2009), as well as the recurring part of Janina in the series Rodzinka.pl (2011–2016). She died on 17 May 2016 in Warsaw.
