Biography
Hallie Cantor is an American television writer. She graduated from Brown University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Culture in English Literary Arts. She began her career as a staff writer at CollegeHumor, where she met Amy Schumer, and has contributed to The New Yorker's Shouts & Murmurs, New York Magazine and NPR's This American Life.
Her television credits include writing for Inside Amy Schumer (2015), Lady Dynamite (2017), Arrested Development (2018–2019) and Dollface (2019), where she also served as executive story editor. She was head writer on Magical Girl Friendship Squad (2020). She is an Emmy nominee and her debut novel, Like This, But Funnier, is due for publication in 2026.
