Biography
Halsted Welles was an American screenwriter and television writer. He was born on 29 December 1906 in Alma, Michigan, and died on 24 January 1990.
Welles wrote the screenplays for the Western films 3:10 to Yuma (1957) and The Hanging Tree (1959). His television credits include episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Night Gallery and Kojak (1973–1974).
