Biography
Hans Alfredson (also credited as Hasse Alfredson) was a Swedish actor, film director, writer and comedian. Born in Malmö in 1931, he died in 2017. He appeared as Jonas Petter in The Emigrants (1971) and its sequel The New Land (1972), and had roles in films including Shame (1968), Pippi on the Run (1970) and The Simple-Minded Murderer (1982).
He was best known for his long collaboration with Tage Danielsson as the comedy duo Hasse & Tage, which produced revues, films and other work through their company AB Svenska Ord. Alfredson also directed and wrote several films, receiving Guldbagge awards for best direction. He was the father of film directors Daniel Alfredson and Tomas Alfredson.
