Biography
Harald Kloser is an Austrian film composer, producer and screenwriter. He was born on 9 July 1956 in Hard, Vorarlberg.
Kloser has been a frequent collaborator of director Roland Emmerich, composing the score for The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and for most of Emmerich's subsequent films, often working with Thomas Wander. His other composing credits include AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004), 10,000 BC (2008), 2012 (2009), White House Down (2013), Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), Midway (2019) and Moonfall (2022). He won BMI Film Music Awards for his work on The Day After Tomorrow and AVP: Alien vs. Predator.
Kloser has also produced and co-written several Emmerich projects, including 10,000 BC, 2012 and Moonfall.
