Biography
Harley Peyton is an American screenwriter and television producer. He studied at Harvard and Stanford.
Peyton began his career writing screenplays for feature films, including Less Than Zero (1987) and Heaven's Prisoners (1996). He joined the writing staff of Twin Peaks (1990–1991) as a writer and producer, contributing to multiple episodes and receiving a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series in 1990.
In television, he created the series Moon Over Miami (1993) and Route 66 (1993). His later credits include writing and producing work on Dracula (2013–2014), Reign (2014–2015), Channel Zero (2016–2018), Project Blue Book (2019–2020) and Chucky (2021). He created Reginald the Vampire (2021–2024).
