Biography
Harold G. Herthum (1929–1998) was an American actor from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He appeared in supporting roles in several feature films, including as the doctor in Forrest Gump (1994), the coroner in JFK (1991), the bartender in Tin Cup (1996) and Earl's crony in Blaze (1989).
Before acting, Herthum owned an insurance agency and a radio station. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He was married to Thelma Cowart Herthum and died in Baton Rouge.
