Biography
Haruo Okuno (奥野 治男) is a Japanese animator and animation director. He has worked on numerous television series and films, often in key animation and animation direction capacities.
Okuno served as episode director on the Haikyu!! series (2014), and as animation director on episodes of its first and second seasons as well as related specials. His other credits include key animation on Your Name. (2016) and Bleach (2004), and animation director roles on Kaiju No. 8 (2024), Tengoku Daimakyo (2023) and MFKZ (2018).
