Biography
Hayden Szeto is a Canadian actor. Born Hayden Chun Hay Szeto on 11 September 1985 in Vancouver, British Columbia, he was raised in the Richmond area. He studied sociology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and graduated from the New York Film Academy's Acting for Film program in 2011.
Szeto is known for his role as Erwin Kim in the film The Edge of Seventeen (2016). He appeared as Ken Luang in two episodes of the series The Good Place (2017). Other credits include Truth or Dare (2018) as Brad Chang, The Good Doctor (2019) as Tony Liu, and What We Do in the Shadows (2019) as Jonathan.
He comes from a family with artistic connections: his father Nigel Szeto is a painter, his paternal grandfather Kei Szeto was a sculptor, and his great-grandfather Szeto Mei was a poet. Szeto speaks Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
