Biography
Hayley Kiyoko is an American actress and singer-songwriter. Born in Los Angeles, she began her career as a child actor with roles including Stevie Nichols in Wizards of Waverly Place (2007–2010), Stella Yamada in Lemonade Mouth (2011), Velma in the Scooby-Doo television films (2009–2010), and appearances in The Vampire Diaries (2009), Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012), Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015) and Jem and the Holograms (2015). She has also had recurring roles in The Fosters (2013–2014) and CSI: Cyber (2015–2016).
Kiyoko made her feature directorial debut in 2026 with Girls Like Girls, on which she is also credited with the story and co-wrote the screenplay. The film, released by Focus Features, is based on her 2015 single and 2023 novel of the same name.
