Biography
Hayley Tibbenham is a writer. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020 with a B.M.A. in Voice Performance and a minor in Creative Writing. She wrote, directed and acted in the short film Inhuman (2019), which was invited to the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner and the Orlando Film Festival. Her other short-film writing credits include Uglies (2021) and Aves (2022).
Tibbenham attended the American Film Institute for screenwriting from 2020 to 2022. She has served as a staff writer on the television series Dutton Ranch (2026). Her feature screenplays have earned a Hopwood Prize in Dramatic Writing and won Best Overall on the Blue List.
