Biography
Haylie Katherine Duff is an American actress. Born on 19 February 1985 in Houston, Texas, she is the older sister of actress and singer Hilary Duff. Her mother, Susan Duff, has worked as a film producer.
Duff began acting in the late 1990s with guest roles in television series and made-for-television films. She gained recognition for her performance as Summer Wheatley in the 2004 film Napoleon Dynamite. Other notable television roles include Amy Sanders in Lizzie McGuire (2001) and Sandy Jameson in 7th Heaven (2005–2007).
She has appeared in films such as Material Girls (2006) and made her Broadway debut in Hairspray in 2006. Duff has also worked as a singer and songwriter, hosted television programmes, and later directed several feature films.
