Biography
Hébert Peck Jr. is a Haitian filmmaker and producer. Born in 1958 in Port-au-Prince, he has worked in public broadcasting, social-issue video and documentary filmmaking, including a long association with Velvet Film.
He co-produced the documentary I Am Not Your Negro (2016), directed by his brother Raoul Peck, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. He also co-produced Fatal Assistance (2013) and produced the short video essay Little Hébert (1993).
Peck has produced series such as Philadelphia Stories for public television and has held roles at Rutgers University Television Network.
