Biography
Henny Youngman was an American comedian and actor. Born Henry Youngman in London in 1906, he moved with his family to Brooklyn, New York, as a child. He began performing in the 1920s and became known for his rapid-fire one-liner delivery, often accompanied by violin playing.
Youngman appeared in numerous films and television programmes, frequently in cameo roles as himself. His credits include History of the World: Part I (1981), Silent Movie (1976), Death Wish II (1982), Amazon Women on the Moon (1987) and GoodFellas (1990). He died in New York City in 1998.
