Biography
Henrik Prip is a Danish actor born on 31 March 1960 in Hellerup. He trained at the acting school of Odense Teater, graduating in 1990, and performed there until 1994 before appearing on smaller Copenhagen stages.
Prip made his film breakthrough as Ped in Lars von Trier's The Idiots (1998). He has since appeared in more than sixty films and numerous television series, including roles as Nalle in The Boss of It All (2006), Henrik Bigum in The Killing (2007), and Frederik Vedfeld in Borgen (2010). He has also written for television and co-wrote the screenplay for The Substitute (2007).
