Biography

Herbert Hirschman (13 April 1914 – 3 July 1985) was an American television producer and director. Born in New York City, he began working in television in the late 1940s on live anthology series such as Studio One and Goodyear Television Playhouse.

He produced Perry Mason and the fourth season of The Twilight Zone. As a director he worked on episodes of Hawaii Five-O, Perry Mason, The Waltons and Cannon, among many other series. He also served as producer on Espionage and The Wackiest Ship in the Army.
