Biography
Hideyuki Tanaka (田中 秀幸) is a Japanese voice actor, actor and narrator. He was born on 12 November 1950 in Ōta, Tokyo, and graduated from Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music. He is affiliated with Aoni Production and has worked in anime, video games, narration and tokusatsu since the 1970s.
He is known for voicing Donquixote Doflamingo in One Piece (1999–), Leo Aiolia and the narrator in Saint Seiya (1986–) and its sequels, Kiminobu Kogure in Slam Dunk (1993–), Grimmer in Monster (2004), Fujitaka Kinomoto in Cardcaptor Sakura (1998), and BG9 in Bleach (2004). In film he voiced Guy in Paprika (2006) and D in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2000). He also voices Zoffy in the Ultraman series and Hal Emmerich (Otacon) in the Metal Gear games.
