Biography
Hikakin, born Hikaru Kaihatsu on 21 April 1989 in Myōkō, Niigata, Japan, is a Japanese YouTuber, beatboxer and actor. He is best known for his main YouTube channel HikakinTV, which features product reviews, travel videos and entertainment content, and has amassed over 19 million subscribers. He co-founded the multi-channel network Uuum and established the company Bee.
Kaihatsu has appeared in several films and television productions, often credited as Hikakin. His acting credits include the role of Waiter in Ju-on: The Final Curse (2015), a cameo as himself in The Great Yokai War: Guardians (2021), and the part of Passerby in Exit 8 (2025). He has also voiced characters in video games and appeared in series such as I Will Be Your Bloom (2022).
