Biography

Hikaru Kondou is a Japanese animation producer, screenwriter and sound director. He is the founder and president of the studio ufotable, established in 2000.

Kondou has produced numerous ufotable projects, including The Garden of Sinners series (from 2007), Fate/Zero (2011), the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works television series (2014) and the Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel film trilogy (2017–2020). He served as producer on the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba television series (2019) and its films. He also wrote the screenplay for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle (2025), on which he is additionally credited as chief director and sound director.
