Biography
Hilda Koronel, also credited as Susan Reid, is a Filipino actress born on 17 January 1957 in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. She began her career in 1970 under a contract with Lea Productions and won the FAMAS Best Supporting Actress award at the age of 13 for her role in the film Santiago!.
She gained prominence through collaborations with director Lino Brocka, starring as Ligaya Paraiso in Manila in the Claws of Light (1975) and in the title role of Insiang (1976). She has appeared in around 45 films and received awards including a Luna Award for best supporting actress for The Mistress (2013).
