Biography
Hiram Martinez is a Dominican screenwriter and producer. He was born on 29 December 1978 in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
Martinez began his career with the 2004 feature Four Dead Batteries, which he wrote, directed and produced, and the 2012 screenplay for Girl in Progress. His television writing credits include episodes of The Last Ship (2016–2018), Game of Silence (2016), Shut Eye (2016), Get Shorty (2018–2019), Snowpiercer (2020), Snowfall (2021) and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2026). He has also served as co-executive producer on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and Snowfall, and as supervising producer on Snowpiercer and Get Shorty. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination and has accumulated further wins and nominations for his work.
