Biography
Hiroshi Ito (糸 博, Itō Hiroshi) is a Japanese voice actor, actor and narrator. Born on 15 March 1933 in Fukuoka, he graduated from Seinan Gakuin University and began his career in the 1960s with the NHK Fukuoka Broadcasting Theatre Company, later working with several theatre troupes before joining the agency 81 Produce.
He is known for voice roles including Oyakata in Castle in the Sky (1986), Danzō Shimura in Naruto Shippūden (2007), Gardner in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009), and Shigekuni Nandaba in FLCL (2000). Ito has also worked extensively in dubbing for Western films and television, and continues to provide narration for documentaries.
