Biography
Hiroshi Kashiwabara (also credited as Kanji Kashiwabara or Kanji) is a Japanese screenwriter and director. Born on 6 September 1949 in Chūō, Tokyo, he studied at Nihon University and began working part-time for Toho in 1973 on the children's series Kure Kure Takora.
He wrote the screenplay for Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (1994) and co-wrote those for Godzilla 2000: Millennium (1999) and Godzilla vs. Megaguirus (2000), both with Wataru Mimura. Kashiwabara has also contributed scripts to the Detective Conan television series and films, as well as several Lupin the Third animated features.
