Biography
Hiroshi Takahashi is a Japanese screenwriter and director. He was born on 8 August 1959 in Chiba, Japan.
Takahashi wrote the screenplay for the 1998 film Ring, directed by Hideo Nakata and based on the novel by Kōji Suzuki. He contributed to the screenplays for its sequels Ring 2 (1999) and Ring 0: Birthday (2000), and received screenplay credit on the 2002 American remake The Ring. His other credits include Ju-On: Origins (2020) and The Ghost Station (2023).
