Biography
Hiroshi Yamaguchi is a Japanese screenwriter and novelist. Born on 29 July 1964 in Yonago, Tottori Prefecture, he is one of the founding members of the animation studio Gonzo.
He wrote scripts for Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995), specifically episodes 16, 22 and 23. His other credits include series composition and writing for Gate Keepers (2000), Betterman (1999) and Argento Soma (2000). He has also written for Gurren Lagann (2007), Dragon Ball Super (2015), Rosario + Vampire (2008) and Digimon Adventure: (2020).
Yamaguchi left Gonzo in 2001 to work as a freelancer and has since contributed to numerous anime and tokusatsu series.
