Biography
Hisashi Sagara (相良久), born Hisashi Takahashi, was a Japanese film editor active from 1937 to 1971.
He collaborated five times with director Masaki Kobayashi on Love Under the Crucifix and Harakiri (both 1962), Kwaidan (1964), Samurai Rebellion (1967) and Inn of Evil (1971). Other credits include Apostasy (1948) and Twin Sisters of Kyoto (1963).
Sagara died on 14 December 1980.
