Biography

Homayun Payvar is an Iranian cinematographer. Born in Tehran in 1944, he has worked on numerous Iranian films since the 1980s.

He is best known for his cinematography on Abbas Kiarostami's Taste of Cherry (1997), which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes, and Life, and Nothing More… (1992). Other credits include Rings (1986) and What's the Time in Your World? (2014).
