Biography
Hossain Farazmand is an Iranian actor and journalist. He is credited as the reporter in Abbas Kiarostami's Close-Up (1990), in which he played himself.
Farazmand wrote the article in Sorush magazine that brought the events dramatised in the film to Kiarostami's attention. He also has an acting credit in The Flower (1988).
