Biography
Howard Kunin (1931–2007) was an American film and television editor and occasional producer. He edited thirty episodes of the crime drama series The Streets of San Francisco (1972–1977) and one episode of MASH (1983). Other television credits include episodes of Beauty and the Beast (1987), Dynasty (1981) and The Love Boat* (1977).
His film work includes editing Class of 1984 (1982) and serving as supervising editor on Commando (1985) and Fade to Black (1980). Kunin won two Eddie Awards from the American Cinema Editors for his contributions to The Streets of San Francisco and the miniseries The Deliberate Stranger (1986). He was born on 15 June 1931 and died on 1 January 2007 in Los Angeles, California.
