Biography
Howard Schwartz (1919–1990) was an American cinematographer. Born in El Paso, Texas, he began working in the camera department in the 1940s and became a director of photography on feature films and television series.
He served as director of photography on the 1966 feature film Batman. His other credits include Futureworld (1976), The Devil and Max Devlin (1981) and episodes of the television series Land of the Giants (1968–1969) and Airwolf (1984–1986). A member of the American Society of Cinematographers since 1963, he received two Primetime Emmy Awards.
