Biography
Hubbel Palmer is an American screenwriter and actor. He received screenplay and story credits on the 2025 film A Minecraft Movie, directed by Jared Hess, alongside frequent collaborator Chris Bowman and others.
Palmer's other writing credits include the 2016 films Masterminds and Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, the 2022 short film Ninety-Five Senses, and the 2007 independent feature American Fork, on which he also acted. He served as a staff writer on the 2012 television series Napoleon Dynamite.
Palmer was born in Utah and holds an MFA in screenwriting from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Film & Media Arts at the University of Utah.
