Biography
Huerequeque Enrique Bohórquez was a Peruvian actor. He is known for his role as Huerequeque, the cook, in Werner Herzog's Fitzcarraldo (1982). He also appeared as himself in the documentary Burden of Dreams (1982), which chronicled the making of the film.
Bohórquez had a further credited role in the 1989 Swiss film Bride of the Orient, playing Landstreicher Faden-Kari under the name Enrique Bohorquez. He appeared as himself in the 2015 documentary Reconquest of the Useless. He died on 27 April 2019 in Peru.
