Biography
Hwang Jae-yeol (황재열) is a South Korean actor born on 24 November 1981 in Masan, South Gyeongsang Province.
He has appeared in supporting roles across numerous films and television series. His credits include the citizen in the 2026 film Colony, the homeroom teacher in the 2025 Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerines, Control Team Leader #1 in Emergency Declaration (2022), and Detective Ki-won in A Time Called You (2023). Other notable appearances are in Hospital Playlist (2020), Dr. Romantic (2016), Crash Course in Romance (2023), The Vanished (2018) and Battle of Jangsari (2019).
He is represented by Ghost Studio and has also worked in theatre.
