Biography
Hwang Jung-min is a South Korean actor. Born on 1 September 1970 in Masan, he trained at the Seoul Institute of the Arts and began his career in musical theatre, making his stage debut in Line 1 in 1995.
He transitioned to film with Waikiki Brothers (2001) and achieved wider recognition for his role in the melodrama You Are My Sunshine (2005). Hwang has since appeared in numerous commercial and critical successes, including A Bittersweet Life (2005), New World (2013), Veteran (2015), The Wailing (2016), The Spy Gone North (2018), Deliver Us from Evil (2020), Hunt (2022) and 12.12: The Day (2023). He plays Go Bum-seok in the 2026 film Hope.
