Biography
Iain Davidson, also credited as Noddy Davidson, is a Scottish television director, producer and writer. He is a director at The Comedy Unit in Glasgow.
Davidson began his career in various roles before entering comedy through sketch writing for Chewin’ the Fat. He progressed to script editing, producing and directing at The Comedy Unit. He directed and produced the BBC Scotland sketch series Burnistoun (2009–2019), written by and starring Iain Connell and Robert Florence.
His other credits include directing and producing episodes of Scot Squad (2014–2023), The Scotts (2020–2023) and Only an Excuse? (2007–2024), as well as the television film Scotland in a Day (2014).
