Biography
Ian Abando is an animation director and storyboard artist. He trained at the Art Center College of Design and began his career in feature animation, working as a story artist on films including Despicable Me 2 (2013), Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013), Minions (2015) and Spies in Disguise (2019).
He has contributed to television series as a character designer on Gravity Falls (2012) and as a storyboard artist on My Dad the Bounty Hunter (2023) and Blue Eye Samurai (2023). Abando has directed episodes of My Dad the Bounty Hunter (2023) and INVINCIBLE (2021–), including several in seasons 2–4.
