Biography
Ian Barry is an Australian film and television director. Born in Sydney in 1946, he began his career in the 1970s with short films and editing work before moving into features and television.
His feature credits include writing and directing the 1980 post-apocalyptic thriller The Chain Reaction. On television he has directed episodes of Farscape (2001), The Doctor Blake Mysteries (2013–2018), Sea Patrol, Rescue Special Ops and A Place to Call Home, among many other series and television films.
