Biography
Ian Bevitt is a British television director. He has directed hundreds of episodes of the soap opera Coronation Street between 2000 and 2023, as well as many episodes of Emmerdale since 1999.
His other credits include directing episodes of Hollyoaks, Waterloo Road, Heartbeat and the 2015 series World's End. In 2023 he directed one episode of the anthology series Inside No. 9. He won a BAFTA TV Award in 2005 for Best Continuing Drama for his work on Coronation Street.
