Biography
Ian Praiser was a writer and producer. He contributed as a writer and teleplay writer on the series Taxi (1978), later serving as story editor and producer on multiple episodes. He also wrote episodes of Bosom Buddies, Three's Company and Rhoda.
Praiser created the series All Is Forgiven (1986) with Howard Gewirtz. His other writing credits include episodes of ALF (1986) and Living Single (1993). He won a Primetime Emmy for writing on The Tracey Ullman Show (1987) in 1990 and received Writers Guild of America nominations for work on Taxi and All Is Forgiven.
He co-wrote and produced the short film Mother, Mother (1989). Praiser was also active in theatre production. He died in Los Angeles in 2006.
