Biography
Iggy Pop, born James Newell Osterberg Jr., is an American musician and actor. He is the lead singer and songwriter of the protopunk band The Stooges, also known as Iggy and the Stooges.
Pop has taken occasional acting roles in film and television. His credits include Salvatore 'Sally' Jenko in Dead Man (1995), Belvedere Rickettes in Cry-Baby (1990), a segment in Coffee and Cigarettes (2004), and a voice role in The Dead Don't Die (2019). He has also provided voices for Arthur 3: The War of the Two Worlds (2010) and appeared in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993) and Tales from the Crypt (1989).
