Biography
Ihuoma Ofordire is a writer, producer and actress. She was born in Washington, District of Columbia, USA, and is of Nigerian descent.
Ofordire wrote the teleplay and story for episodes of the HBO series Lovecraft Country (2020), including “Jig-a-Bobo” and “Full Circle”. She has also written episodes of Snowfall (2021), Black Cake (2023) and Dark Matter (2024), and contributed to Spartacus: House of Ashur (2025). Earlier credits include creating and writing the series Life, Love, & Hollywood (2008).
She has received three award nominations, including a Bram Stoker Award nomination for her work on Lovecraft Country.
