Biography
Ike Holter is an American playwright and screenwriter. He wrote the episode "All I Care About is Love" for the 2019 FX miniseries Fosse/Verdon.
Born in 1985 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Holter studied playwriting at DePaul University in Chicago. He has been a resident playwright at Victory Gardens Theater and has received commissions from companies including the Kennedy Center and South Coast Repertory. In 2017 he won the Windham–Campbell Literature Prize for drama, and in 2021 he received a Steinberg Playwright Award.
His plays include Hit the Wall (2012), Exit Strategy (2014) and Lottery Day (2019), the latter forming part of his Rightlynd Saga. His contribution to Fosse/Verdon was part of a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Long Form Adaptation. He has developed other television projects and lectures at Yale University.
