Biography
Ike Jarlego Jr. was a Filipino film editor, occasional director and actor. Born in Manila in 1944, he was the son of film editor Enrique Jarlego Sr. and worked extensively in Philippine cinema from the 1970s onwards.
He is credited as editor on Manila in the Claws of Light (1975), directed by Lino Brocka, and on numerous other films including The Rites of May (1976), Himala (1982) and Forever (1994). Jarlego received multiple awards for editing, including FAMAS and Gawad Urian prizes. He died in 2012.
