Biography
Ilda Mason is a Panamanian actress, singer and dancer based in New York City. She began her career in theatre in Panama with productions including Peter Pan, A Chorus Line (as Bebe) and Hello, Dolly! (as Minnie). She won Season 2 of Panama’s Dancing with the Stars as a professional dancer.
Mason made her feature film debut as Luz in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story (2021). Her stage credits include the Broadway revival of West Side Story (as swing), the national tour of On Your Feet!, and appearances in Buena Vista Social Club on Broadway. She has also appeared in episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (as Terri), The Equalizer and the film Girl Haunts Boy (2024). She received a Chita Rivera Award for outstanding ensemble in a Broadway show for Buena Vista Social Club.
