Biography
Imogen Stubbs is an English actress and writer. She was educated at Exeter College, Oxford, where she gained a First Class degree, and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Her stage career includes work with the Royal Shakespeare Company, notably as Desdemona in Othello directed by Trevor Nunn. Film roles include Privileged (1982), A Summer Story (1988), Erik the Viking (1989), Jack & Sarah (1995), Sense and Sensibility (1995) as Lucy Steele, and Twelfth Night (1996) as Viola. She wrote the play We Happy Few, produced in 2004.
