Biography
Indigo is an American actress and voice actress, also credited as Indigo Nichols and under her birth name Alyssa Ashley Nichols. Born on 25 June 1984 in Los Angeles, California, she trained at the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts.
She is known for her recurring role as Vaneeta James on the series Weeds (2005–2007), for which the cast received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Other television credits include Rona on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2003), guest appearances on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2006) and Burn Notice (2007), and voice work as Esther on Family Guy (2005–2006). Film roles include Dora in Mississippi Grind (2015) and the young nurse in Black or White (2015).
She is married to musician Jneiro Jarel.
