Biography
Inge Landgut (23 November 1922 – 29 May 1986) was a German actress. She began her career as a child performer in silent films after being discovered by Henny Porten, and trained at the Schauspielschule of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin.
She is best known for her roles as Elsie Beckmann in Fritz Lang’s M (1931) and as Pony Hütchen in Emil and the Detectives (1931). Landgut continued to appear in films and television into adulthood.
From the 1950s she worked extensively as a voice actress, providing the German dub for Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny in the James Bond films, Barbara Bel Geddes in Dallas, and Wilma in The Flintstones, among many others. She was married to actor and director Werner Oehlschläger from 1952 until his death in 1980.
