Biography
Ingeborga Dapkūnaitė is a Lithuanian actress and television presenter. She trained at the Lithuanian State Conservatory and began her career in Lithuanian theatre before appearing in Russian and international films from the late 1980s.
She is known for her roles as Marusya in Burnt by the Sun (1994) and the title character in Katya Ismailova (1994), for which she received the Nika Award for Best Actress. Her international credits include Hannah in Mission: Impossible (1996), Ingrid Harrer in Seven Years in Tibet (1997), and Irina Sidorova in the series Occupied (2015–2019). Dapkūnaitė has performed on stage in Lithuania, the United Kingdom, the United States and Russia, with a long professional partnership with John Malkovich.
