Biography
Ionuț Ghinea, also credited as Ionuț Octavian Ghinea, is a Romanian actor and theatre practitioner. He is known for his role as Ionut in Cristian Mungiu's Beyond the Hills (2012), in which he appeared at the age of 23.
Ghinea graduated from the National University of Theatre and Film (UNATC) in Bucharest in 2011 in the puppetry and marionettes section. He holds master's degrees in acting drama from the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș and in animation theatre from UNATC Bucharest. He works as an actor and director at the Teatrul „George Ciprian” in Buzău, where he has staged family-oriented productions.
