Biography
Irene Miracle is an American actress, director and producer. She made her film debut in Night Train Murders (1975) and gained international attention for her role as Susan in Alan Parker’s Midnight Express (1978). For that performance she won the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Female.
She followed with a leading part as Rose Elliot in Dario Argento’s Inferno (1980) and later appeared in Puppet Master (1989) and other films and television productions. Miracle has also worked behind the camera as a writer, director and producer; her short film Dawnland (also known as Changeling) was released in 2009.
